On Saturday, June 22nd, the Jonesborough Genealogical Society will meet at the Washington County-Jonesborough Library, 200 Sabin Drive, Jonesborough, at 8:30 am, to carpool to our neighboring town of Greeneville, Tennessee for a “Tailor Made Tour” provided by Main Street Greeneville, which will begin at 9 am. Sites visited will include the Andrew Johnson Historic Site Visitors Center and Homestead, DAR Home, Greene County-Greeneville Museum, the Elmer T. Cox History and Genealogy Library, the Walk with the President Walking Tour, as well as other sites. Lunch will be at the Big Spring and will be a picnic lunch.
